The Monroeville Foundation has a goal of raising $5000 that will go directly for the support of those people and organizations in our community impacted by the Coronavirus.
The Monroeville Foundation was pleased to partner with various organizations in the community to present a drive-thru Easter egg hunt for residents of the Monroeville community.

We are all trying to adjust to the dynamics of dealing with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the disruption to business and our personal lives. Please know that while we acknowledge that all public events have been temporarily suspended, we have full confidence that life and business will return to a (new) normal in the foreseeable future.
With this in mind we are continuing to plan for the Monroeville CommUNITY Day on July 25, the Monroeville Jazz Festival on August 15 and our Golf Outing on September 15. With respect to all that our sponsors, supporters, and friends that are currently facing with the Coronavirus epidemic, we are temporarily suspending our fund-raising efforts until further notice.
The (new) normal will require even greater support than ever to ensure we provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the attendees at each of these events. We sincerely hope that we can count on your continued participation and support for each of our events.
Due to the Coronavirus and Pennsylvania’s guidelines of self-quarantining, wearing face masks, social distancing, etc. the Monroeville Foundation has decided to cancel Monroeville CommUNITY Day and 5K Run/Walk.

The Monroeville Foundation assists the municipality of Monroeville by offering residents and businesses an opportunity to create their own legacy by purchasing naming rights to specific sections of the Monroeville Community park, to make donations to support our ongoing projects and to sponsor one of our fundraising events. No amount is too small. Your community is worth your investment.
In 2014, The Monroeville Foundation teamed up with the Monroeville Animal Shelter and is dedicated to assisting the shelter with its fundraising needs.
One of the initial projects of the Monroeville Foundation was to provide a mechanism for naming rights to accompany the new Monroeville Community Park West. Persons or businesses on a can have a space or facility named after them and have their own historical landmark of in Monroeville.

With a need to give the garden a new sense of the same purpose, the Food Pantry Garden directed itself for 2015 as a Bee Pollinating Garden. More volunteers joined, some had to do less work. The Monroeville Animal Shelter is one of the few municipality-supported shelters in Allegheny County. They provide Animal Control for domestic animals and wildlife in both the Monroeville and Pitcairn areas. The shelter also provides homeless dogs and cats with a temporary residence until a permanent loving home is found. In 2011, The Monroeville Foundation was approached by one of the scouts in Troop 143 with plans for his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project. His project consisted of constructing a water irrigation system at theBotanical Gardens in Monroeville’s Community Park West.
