The Monroeville Foundation is pleased to announce plans for the 2nd annual Great Pumpkin Race, a 5K Run & Walk  on October 20, 2024. This event is becoming a Halloween tradition in our community. This Halloween-themed event will begin at 8:00 a.m. on a beautiful route that is mapped out within the 66-acres of the Monroeville Community Park West.

Following the Race, the festivities will continue with an After Party including an award ceremony, health fair, music, food and fun activities for all ages!

Community healthcare providers and related businesses are invited to participate in this Monroeville community tradition. Your support of The Monroeville Foundation – a non-profit 501(c)(3) will be dedicated to supporting our community efforts as well as future events. In the past three years The Monroeville Foundation has awarded grants to Community Food Panties, Friends of Jupiter Pet Walk, Chabad of Monroeville’s Light Up the Night Celebration, Monroeville Public Library’s Early Reading Program, Monroeville Traffic Security Cameras, Meadowdale Plan Beautification, Bee Pollinating Garden and Gateway High School Musical and most recently to the Forbes Hospital Trauma Unit. The Monroeville Foundation is also the hosting presenter of the Monroeville Jazz Festival.
