Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra

The Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra is Pittsburgh’s premier big band.  Their mission is to celebrate Pittsburgh’s rich jazz history in the here and how by uniting local jazz musicians to perform the broad scope of jazz styles in the orchestral format. Members of the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra are poets and artists - each in their own rights. They have much to teach audiences about history, spirituality, and the language of jazz. The PJO is a celebration of a rich jazz tradition – you will not want to miss this opportunity of hearing one the country's most prolific jazz modern ensemble.
